I was hoping to make this a project bike for the summer so that I could give it to him for his retirement as a beginner bike. After i bought my bike he has been constantly talking about how he wants one. My dad is retireing from the military, 22 years. Is 400 a good deal for this bike which appears to be in decent shape?Īny other ideas as to why the bike wouldnt turn over if i cleaned out the tank, sealed it and cleaned carbs and replaced the lines and filter?Īnything else I should check for before taking the plunge? Is there a way to check if the engine is siezed without having to remove the engine cover? Im planning on ripping this thing into pieces and cleaning the whole thing really well. Since I know there is spark and the starter sounded fine im assuming there is some problem with the fuel delivery.
